LA Rams mock draft snags snarler center in 2021 NFL Draft

Cornerback
With the 210th pick of the 2021 NFL Draft, the Los Angeles Rams select cornerback Thomas Graham Jr. from the University of Oregon. Graham is the type of cornerback who does everything very well, and it’s almost so good that it all blends together. He is among an NFL Draft class that just happens to be rather deep at cornerback. That will allow a player who checks all of the boxes to fall to the Rams in round six, much like safety Jordan Fuller fell in the 2020 NFL Draft.
Graham is 5-foot-11 and weighs 200-pounds. He combines a nice blend of speed, agility, and power to give him a good foundation for the more physical NFL pass defense. And he does an excellent job of slipping a hand in or tying up the intended receiver to force an incompletion. That’s what the LA Rams are looking for, and will be delighted to find Graham there in round six.
The LA Rams love players who play well in the Senior Bowl. So what does Senior Bowl Director Jim Nagy say about Graham? Only good things, and for good reason as evidenced by this tweet about Graham’s ability to shadow receivers.
He played just three seasons, opting out of 2020 due to COVID-19. In three years and 40 games with the Oregon Ducks, Graham put up 183 tackles, 10.5 tackles for a loss, one quarterback sack, eight interceptions, 32 deflected passes, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery. He is very adept at staying close to a receiver and timing his move to disrupt the pass play at the optimal moment.
