A way this could work

OT Isiah Wilson has played a sport that has allowed his mind to coast this far because he has been blessed with such incredible size and power. Now, he must find a way to fast-track his mind to catch up to his God-given size and strength. And to find reason enough to do so, Wilson will need to face that fork in the road to the reclamation of his future or to his disappearance into the sunset.

The Rams cannot assume the risk of a likely-won’t-pan-out player with an ironclad contract that pays him regardless of what he does. So the only course for this to bear some chance of success is for either the Tenessee Titans to swallow that contract and let the NFL marketplace determine Wilson’s value.

Based on his track record so far, that may not be much.

But If Wilson shows initiative and enrolls in any number of off-season training camps designed to coach up a player’s technique and form, and if he gets positive grades at the camp, then he would be a worthwhile prospect for a second chance in the NFL. Now, this is not a ‘he’ll start in 2021’ type of article. But he can play at an elite level, and he dominates an offensive line from the moment he steps onto the football field.

More. LA Rams likely will see return of NT A’Shawn Robinson. light

No, he’s not worth trading any picks for. But he’s worth keeping an eye on. The next steps of his NFL career are up to the Tenessee Titans and Isaiah Wilson himself. But if those steps are in the right direction, then I would fully support the LA Rams meeting him halfway.
