The NFL’s Free Agency market opens for business is starting on March 17, 2021, at 1:00 pm PT. When that happens, the LA Rams can begin to address several roster holes that need to be filled. Of those holes, none seem more important to the success of the offense than the position of the offensive tackle. Protecting newly acquired quarterback Matthew Stafford’s blindside has now become the number one priority for this team to be successful.

The Rams already have one of the best in the business at that position in veteran Andrew Whitworth.  However, there are question marks. Whitworth, who has been a major piece of their offensive line since 2017, is 39 years old and at the back end of his career. Of course, he did get to audition for the role in 2020, as he filled in as the starter for the last eight regular-season games. But even still, the Rams want solid competition at not only left tackle but every position on the offensive line.

With Andrew Whitworth at the tail end of his career and with the lack of veteran depth, the Rams truly need to upgrade the competition level at arguably the most important position on the offensive line. Finding competition for Whitworth is not going to be hard to find. So who is out there for the Rams to sign and compete for the starting position? Let’s take a look:
