Anchors away? LA Rams have options at offensive tackle

Ravens offensive tackle
Of course, the Baltimore Ravens OT Orlando Brown wants to play at the left tackle position, and he likely won’t have that chance with the Baltimore Ravens. You see, much like Joseph Noteboom, Brown was promoted to offensive left tackle when their starter, Ronnie Stanley, was injured and lost the rest of the season.
Hey, if you are concerned about the safety of a valuable quarterback, you need to ensure that he is protected. So the Ravens are interested in trading Brown, but only if the team gets a serious package of compensation.
While that could be complicated for the Rams, it’s not impossible. And because Brown has his mind made up to play the left tackle position, he may be relegated to an emergency option if the Rams are scrambling to find a plug-n-play left tackle at some point this year.
Whatever trade package will be required will certainly need to be of considerable value. For the Rams, that would likely require some combination of player(s) + pick(s) to make it happen. Brown is a gifted athlete and can play multiple positions at the offensive line. But if the Rams trade for him, it will be to play offensive left tackle only.
