Stills has that “Rams” profile feel to him

The reason for this prestidigitation of draft profiles was simple, it’s nearly an identical profile to that of West Virginia University’s defensive tackle Darius Stills. Stills is a big man, but perhaps not as large as some in the context of the NFL at defensive linemen.

His draft profile lists him at 6-foot-1 and weighs him in at 278-pounds.  That reads very much like Donald’s 6-foot-1 280-pounds, doesn’t it?  Well, yes it does. But yes we are talking about and to West Virginia Interior defensive lineman Darius Stills.

As well we should. The LA Rams know the value of Aaron Donald. Well, the entire NFL knows the value of All-Pro defensive lineman Aaron Donald. But perhaps no team is so uniquely qualified to recognize a player who could follow in Donald’s footsteps, and become somewhat of a wrecking ball for the next ten or so years after Donald steps down.  If we had to pick out a player who would pique our interest, we suspect he would start out like this:

Great stuff. Stills showed up loud and large at the Reese’s Senior Bowl, and we know from experience that the LA Rams use the Senior Bowl as a sort of gauntlet to discern between those who want to make it in the NFL and those who will make it in the NFL. Stills endured, and will surely be one of the players that the Rams will seek in the upcoming draft.
