If there is anything we’ve learned about the LA Rams in the past 12 months, it’s that the team has been hemorrhaging practically anyone associated with its special teams’ squad from the 2019 NFL season at a breakneck pace.

And if there is anything we’ve learned about the Dallas Cowboys team over those same past 12 months, it’s that they always seem to be poaching (or at least scooping up) Rams’ special teams’ players.

Therefore,  and heretofore (or is it hitherto?) we submit as evidence the following historical track record, which we kindly request that the court label henceforth as Exhibit A for the prosecution. Of course, I’m not really sure what the charges will be just yet.

Former Rams’ special teams’ coach John Fassel – gone . . . defected to the Cowboys circa 2020

Former Rams’ assistant special teams’ coach Matt Daniels- gone. . . defected to the Cowboys circa 2020.

Former Rams’ long snapper Jake McQuaide – gone. . . defected to the Cowboys circa 2021

Former Rams’ placekicker Greg “The Leg” Zuerlein – gone. . . defected to the Cowboys circa 2020

And now, soon to be former Rams’ punter Johnny Hekker – not yet gone, but he’s hanging precariously and precipitously out there on one very narrow ledge. . . for the Cowboys to snatch.

I mean you might as well call the Cowboys special teams squad the LA Rams’ squad, vintage 2019.
