The LA Rams have enjoyed success when targeting players from the Big Ten NCAA Football Conference. Since that effort has been rewarded in the past, there is every reason to expect the LA Rams to return to the same fishing hole from whence they’ve landed draft-day diamonds in the past.

So let’s meander to the Big Ten, the oldest Division 1 collegiate conference in the United States and home to a few perennial football powerhouses in search of players that fit the Rams’ needs and culture. The Big Ten is the home of overlooked safety Jordan Fuller, a slow-footed player who was pushed down on NFL draft boards around the league because he did not sprint quickly enough.

Well, the LA Rams shot holes in that theory, didn’t they? When the presumed safety Taylor Rapp could not answer the bell in training camp, it was a two-horse race between Terrell Burgess and Jordan Fuller, and Fuller won the starting role.

Now, we turn to the class of 2021 to seek another standout starter for the Rams roster.
