2 ILBs the LA Rams passed on to draft Ernest Jones at 103

News flash: The LA Rams needed to add speed to their second level of defense. So they take South Carolina linebacker Ernest Jones with their critical 103rd pick of the 2021 NFL Draft in the closing minutes of the crucial third round, after drafting Louisville WR Tutu Atwell earlier in the second round.
Once again, the position of linebacker on this team is considered as being worthy of a third-round or lower pick, but not one smidgeon or iota (that’s not an atomic particle) higher in the draft. Dick Butkus could be available and the Malibu Beach House Draft Bunch would draft a gnat of a receiver, instead. Maybe even a special teams contributor. But the team is improving.
