The LA Rams are not perfect by any means, and if you can’t handle the truth about the team, then you should pause here. Let’s start this by assuring everyone that being a fan is not about overlooking the gaffes, mistakes, and unwise moves. In fact, it’s about embracing those bumps in the road because they become challenges to overcome.

Reaching the apex in any professional sport is more than just riding a crest of success after success. It’s meeting adversity, being driven to your knees, only to rise once more and overcome the opposition. Greatness is not avoiding failure, but simply rising more often than falling. And so, the coverage of the Rams is more than just clapping and applauding each and every move as though it was a guessed response for the game show The Family Feud.  Not each move by the Rams warrants applause and a “Good answer!” response.

So we’re saying that the LA Rams may have made some questionable moves this off-season? Of course, they do so each year and will likely continue to do so. At a minimum, 31 NFL teams make questionable moves, as only one team hoists the Lombardi Trophy each season.

Of course, that’s not to say that the LA Rams have not made progress. In the end, it’s the aggregation (sum) of all moves that either inch the team closer to the goal of winning the Super Bowl or allows other teams to leapfrog the Rams in their quest to win it all.  So what moves happened this offseason which fall into the worst moves category? We have five moves that raised our eyebrows.
