LA Rams: 2022 NFL Draft holds plenty of intrigue

2022 Draft picks
Eleven picks certainly are welcome news and a huge surplus after the Rams faced fewer than half that number of picks in the 2021 NFL Draft. While plentiful, don’t look for any coups by the Rams just yet, because the team will need to work their day three magic once more.
That could be a problem, as the Rams will undoubtedly be loaded with nearly four successive or nearly successive picks in round six of the draft, particularly if the Rams finish among the NFL’s best teams. Does that open the team to trading up in the draft? Well, anything is possible.
Round 1 – TRADED. The LA Rams have tentatively traded their 2022 first-round pick to the Detroit Lions for quarterback Matthew Stafford.
Round 2– The Rams hold their second-round pick.
Round 3 – The Rams hold their third-round pick.
Round 4 – Traded to Houston Texans with WR Brandin Cooks as compensation for a 2020 second-round pick
Round 5 – The Rams hold their fifth-round pick.
Round 6 -The Rams hold their sixth-round pick.
Round 7 – The Rams hold their seventh-round pick.
Round 7 – The LA Rams will receive the Miami Dolphins 2022 seventh-round draft picks as part of the exchange which sent Aqib Talib to the Dolphins.
That’s their original quota of picks and results with the LA Rams selecting in the following rounds: Second-round one (1) pick, third-round one (1) pick, fifth-round one (1) pick, sixth-round one (1) pick, seventh-round two (2) picks. Total picks: Six (6) picks
