
Awarded 2022 Compensatory Picks
The LA Rams will quickly add to their draft picks in 2022, thanks to the addition of five likely awarded draft picks. Of course, the tough part of the equation is that these picks are only possible after the loss of a valued player to another team.
It’s well-timed because the Rams face a similar situation over free agents in 2022. Of course, we’ll discuss the Rams veterans whose contracts expire in 2022 in the next slide, but the restoration of the roster also includes that part where the organization must restock and redevelop a significant crop of incoming rookies each year. Round 3 – The Rams will likely be awarded a second third-round compensatory pick for the loss of Director of College Scouting Brad Holmes to the Detroit Lions as their new General Manager.
Round 4 – The Rams currently project to be awarded a fourth-round compensatory pick for the loss of safety John Johnson.

Round 6 – The Rams currently project to be awarded a sixth-round compensatory pick for the loss of cornerback Troy Hill.
The #Browns are signing former #Rams CB Troy Hill to a 4-year, $24M deal, source said, adding to their defensive haul in free agency. The Youngstown native, who had three defensive TDs last year, returns home.
