What’s the buzz, tell me what’s a’ happening?

Right now, 49ers fans are eager to know what the plans are for the ex-Rams pass rusher.  Unfortunately, nobody is talking. Well, not about the plans to use him.  They are talking about his athleticism quite a bit.

And they love what he does in the weight room too. He’s pushing a lot of weights up and down. That’s usually indicative of an NFL player who is trying to add muscle mass. For now, it’s simply attracting a semi-circle of observers and the occasion muffled “Damn man” commentary among his new teammates. Yes, they’re talking about that too.

The first clue is the fact that the San Francisco 49ers have him listed as a defensive lineman on their official team roster. So much for secrets, eh? That explains the display of low reps high weights in the weight room.  He arrived in the low 240-pound range, and the team likely wants him in the 250-260 pound range. So he’s putting it on now.
