LA Rams projected record for the 2021 season.
Second half 2021 season
Week 10 @San Francisco 49ers Monday 11/15 5:15 PM Result: W (7-3)
Traveling to the 49ners on Monday Night Football will be a tough task, but I think the Rams are up for it. The 49ers could have rookie QB Trey Lance starting at this point, and that would add a lot more excitement to this game. The Rams team is still much better overall, and I think they will be motivated coming off of the loss. The Rams win by four points in the Bay. The losing streak ends, and the Rams head to a well-earned week of rest.
Week 11 Bye week
The Rams will head into their bye week at 7-3 and will be leading the NFC West.
Week 12 @ Green Bay Packers Sunday 11/28 1:25 PM Result: W (8-3)
I’m going to play devil’s advocate here and suggest that Aaron Rodgers will get traded. If this happens the Rams will be able to roll over the Packers in Green Bay with Jordan Love at quarterback.
Week 13 Jacksonville Jaguars Sunday 12/5: 1:25 PM Result: W (9-3)
The Rams and Jaguars are a clear mismatch, despite all of the hype that surrounds the top pick quarterback Trevor Lawerence. Jalen Ramsey will be licking his chops at the chance to play his former team and turn Lawerence over. The Rams win by double digits.
Week 14 @Arizona Cardinals Monday 12/13 5:15 PM Result: L (9-4)
The Cardinals will get revenge for their earlier loss and defeat the Rams at home. It’s tough to beat a divisional opponent twice in one season. Cliff Kingsbury and Kyler Murray will make the necessary adjustments and they’ll win a close game late. Yep. The Rams’ domination of the Cardinals ends here.
Week 15 Seattle Seahawks Sunday 12/19 1:25 PM Result: W (10-4)
The Rams will get their revenge on the Seahawks this time around. The Rams defensive line will cause problems for Wilson, and the offense will expose the Seahawks’ weak defense. The Rams win by a touchdown.
Week 16 @Minnesota Vikings Sunday 12/26 10:00 AM Result: W (11-4)
Traveling to Minnesota won’t be easy, but Matthew Stafford is a better quarterback than Kirk Cousins. He also is very familiar with the Vikings and he knows what it takes to beat them. The Rams’ offense is better, and their defense is as well. That will travel well and the Rams will enjoy a six-point victory.
Week 17 @Baltimore Ravens Sunday 01/02 1:25 PM Result: L (11-5)
The Ravens are one of the best teams in the NFL and have one of the best home-field advantages in the league. This will be a tall task for the Rams, and ultimately traveling on back-to-back weeks will get to them. Lamar Jackson will have a field day and the Ravens will cruise to a 10 point victory.
Week 18 San Francisco 49ers Sunday 01/09 1:25 Result: L (11-6)
This game will mean much more to the 49ers because the Rams will already have the division locked up. The 49ers will be fighting for a playoff spot, and I think that urgency will get them the win.
NFC West predictions
1. Rams 11-6
2. Cardinals 10-7 (Playoffs)
3. 49ers 9-8 (Miss Playoffs)
4. Seahawks 7-10
