Rams Game Saturday: Rams vs. Raiders prediction, odds, spread, line, injury report, schedule, live stream, and TV channel for preseason game 2
By Bret Stuter
The LA Rams will host the Las Vegas Raiders on Saturday. We’ve got a prediction plus the odds, injury report, live stream, and TV info for you.
On Saturday, the LA Rams will return to the field for their second matchup of the 2021 preseason when they take on the Las Vegas Raiders inside SoFi Stadium, Saturday.
It will be the Rams‘ second preseason contest, one that the team will try to even up their record by defeating the visiting Raiders, who have already opened their 2021 preseason with a 20-7 win over the Seattle Seahawks. The Rams dropped their opener to the Los Angeles Chargers in a defensive matchup that ended with a score of 13-6.
Like the Rams, the Raiders are happy to play in their new stadium in front of fans but are under pressure to perform better this year. Although the Raiders finished the 2020 season with an 8-8 record, they did not earn a playoff berth. The Rams and Raiders both want to get to the playoffs this year. This one is in SoFi. Even with backups hitting the field, the Rams would love nothing better than to protect their home turf.
Las Vegas Raiders vs. LA Rams odds for Preseason Week 2:
Heading into Sunday’s Week 2 preseason matchup, the visiting Raiders are currently favored by 7.0 points over the Rams according to the latest odds from WynnBET.
If you just want to pick just a straight-up winner or a loser by betting the moneyline, WynnBET has set the moneyline for this contest. For this one, the moneyline is set at -310 for the Raiders at -310 (you bet $310 and win $100 if the Raiders win outright) and at +240 for the LA Rams (you bet $100 and win $240 if the LA Rams win outright)
WynnBET currently has the over/under for Saturday’s exhibition contest set at 35.0 points. The house is indifferent, so both the under and over are set with -110 odds (bet $110 to win $100). Of course, those odds can change before game time
LA Rams Injury Report vs. Las Vegas Raiders for Preseason Week 2:
The LA Rams will sit their starters again. Wide receiver Ben Skowronek had surgery to correct his fractured forearm and will not participate. Defensive back Nick Scott had to be helped off the practice field last week, and the hope is to have him back by the season opener against the Chicago Bears. While he won’t participate in the game, DB Darious Williams is nursing a sore ankle and hopes to be at full strength next week. Rookie defensive back Robert Rochell (wrist) and defensive lineman Bobby Brown III (thumb) should be ready to go for this one. RB Cam Akers remains out, and will likely be assigned to Injured reserve to start the season.
LA Rams vs. Las Vegas Raiders Prediction for Preseason Week 2:
When it comes to placing a wager on an NFL preseason game, going with the moneyline is typically the best route to take.
For this matchup, the Rams sit at +240. That’s a pretty good way stack of jack for the Rams playing at SoFi Stadium. But it’s a bit odd in comparison, as in the Dallas Cowboys vs. the Tampa Bay Buccaneers game, the Cowboys are 6.5 road underdogs and have a +250 to win outright on the moneyline. A $100 bet will win you $250 in that one. Look for the Rams moneyline to come in at +250 to +300.
Perhaps if you don’t like the Rams’ chances to win with backups only, you can play the line and go with the LA Rams and get the seven points. In that wager, The Rams only need to lose at a spread of six points or less. Since the Rams are committed to playing backups, that may be the better way to go.
When it comes to winning preseason contests, the LA Rams with Sean McVay leading the way is one of the best bets anyone will find this week
