LA Rams may have no choice but to keep these 6 rising D stars

Defensive back
The deck has been stacked against 5-foot-10 190-pound undrafted rookie Brontae Harris ever since he arrived at the LA Rams. The University of Alabama at Birmingham senior was facing quite an uphill battle to get a shot at what quickly became a deep and productive secondary. But Harris did not back down in the least. In fact, the tougher the competition, the tougher he’s become to match the field.
DB Brontae Harris put in three seasons of solid work at UAB, resulting in 76 tackles, one quarterback sack, and four interceptions. But he was rather adept at defending the pass, as his 16 pass defenses demonstrate. In fact, he defended 11 passes in 2018 alone. That was enough to get him to the LA Rams roster. But what has he done since he’s arrived? He’s been a bit.. um… spectacular.
In just two preseason games, he chalked up nine tackles, one pass deflection, and one interception. To be honest, the LA Chargers seemed to have a vendetta against him, as he was targetted repeatedly throughout the game. While he did allow some receptions, he did an excellent job of tackling the receiver after the catch.
While the LA Rams secondary is bursting at the seams with talent already, Brontae Harris has demonstrated the fearlessness that resembles that of veteran DB Darious Williams. He keeps working very hard to make a play, and as has been proven in just two preseason games, he eventually does.
Six defensive players whose stock is rising rapidly, and not all will earn a spot on the LA Rams 53-man roster. Who do you like? Let us know in the comments section.
