The LA Rams will travel to face the Denver Broncos on Saturday. We’ve got a prediction plus the odds, injury report, live stream, and TV info for you.

On Saturday, August 28, the LA Rams will return to the field for their third and final matchup of the 2021 preseason when they travel to take on the Denver Broncos at Empower Field on Saturday, August 28.

It will be the LA Rams‘ third preseason contest, one in which the team will try to earn their first preseason victory. While the Rams had dropped their opener to the Los Angeles Chargers in a defensive matchup that ended with a score of 13-6, followed by losing to the Las Vegas Raiders by a score of 17-16, the team has been building some positive momentum.

Unlike the Rams, the Denver Broncos are quite happy with their preseason performance so far. They have defeated both the Minnesota Vikings and Seattle Seahawks in commanding fashion. Although the Broncos finished the 2020 season with a 5-11 record, they believe that this season will turn out far differently. While it’s never a good idea to place too much stock into preseason wins and losses, the Broncos combined margin of victory so far at 63-9 is pretty impressive

LA Rams vs. Denver Broncos odds for Preseason Week 3:

Heading into Sunday’s Week three preseason matchup, the home field Broncos are currently favored by 8.5 points over the Rams according to the latest odds from WynnBET.

If you just want to pick just a straight-up winner or a loser, try betting the moneyline which WynnBET has set for this contest. As of the time of publication, the moneyline is set  for the Broncos at -420 (you bet $420 and win $100 if the Broncos win outright) and at +320 for the LA Rams (you bet $100 and win $320 if the LA Rams win outright)

WynnBET currently has the over/under for Saturday’s exhibition contest set at 33.5 points. The house is indifferent, so both the under and over are set with -110 odds (bet $110 to win $100). Of course, those odds can change before game time

LA Rams Injury Report vs. Denver Broncos for Preseason Week 3:

The LA Rams will sit their starters plus again, up to 35 players once more. Rookie WR Ben Skowronek will not play due to a fractured forearm. The punting duties will be handled exclusively by Corey Bojorquez, as Johnny Hekker remains on the reserve/COVID-19 list under quarantine. DB Nick Scott was practicing in a knee brace. He will likely remain inactive for the preseason game, but expectations are that he could be ready for the season opener.

Rookie defensive back Robert Rochell (wrist) practiced, but will likely not play against the Broncos. Defensive lineman Bobby Brown III (thumb) should be ready to go for this one. RB Cam Akers remains out, and will likely be assigned to Injured reserve to start the season, and Darrell Henderson was practicing in a red jersey and won’t play either. It remains to be seen if newly acquired RB Sony Michel will see any action in this one.

LA Rams vs. Denver Broncos Prediction for Preseason Week 3:

When it comes to placing a wager on an NFL preseason game, going with the moneyline is typically the best route to take. But I really don’t like the odds in this one. For this matchup, the Rams sit at +320. That’s a pretty good way stack of jack for the Rams playing on the road.  To be more precise, a $100 bet will win you $320 in this one.

Perhaps if you don’t like the Rams’ chances to win with backups only, you can play the line and go with the LA Rams and get the 8.5 points. In that wager, The Rams only need to lose at a spread of eight points or less. Since the Rams are committed to playing backups, that may be the better way to go. To place that wager, the odds are set at -110. You will need to place a bet of $110 to win $100.

The LA Rams have taken no great stock in preseason contests, and should not be overly interested in winning this one either. The Rams have done a pretty good job of keeping scoring down. I don’t like any final preseason games due to their unpredictable nature. But if I had to bet, I’d take the Broncos to win on the moneyline.  My next recommendation is to go with the under in this one.

But keep an eye on punter Corey Bojorquez. If he has a good game, he could pry a starting role on the LA Rams roster.
