The LA Rams will certainly have their eye on some key NCAA football matchups today, and for good reason. The college schedule is beginning to showcase some excellent matchups already that pit projected draft prospects against one another in a contest where quality meets quality. Those types of evenly matched opponents do not happen often.

So today’s trio of key games to track for potential LA Rams 2022 NFL Draft targets could add a bit of fun and entertainment to the full college football card. For starters, the Rams will likely be shopping in 2022 for multiple offensive linemen. While fans have hoped for that in the past two drafts to no avail, the Rams will not have the benefit of double-digit returning veterans for their offensive line next season. In fact, the team may have trouble finding the fund to extend five offensive linemen on expiring contracts, plus the expected retirement of Andrew Whitworth.

And the team is already short for edge rushers, as outside linebacker Chris Garrett remains under quarantine on the team’s reserve/COVID-19 list.  Further compounding the shortage, the Rams placed Ogbonnia Okoronkwo on the temporary Injured Reserve.
