Rams Winner: Stafford to Kupp

There is one aspect of the LA Rams that is completely off-the-rails good right now, and that is the almost instant chemistry between quarterback Matthew Stafford and wide receiver Cooper Kupp. It’s a bit of a new experience for the Rams fanbase because the Rams have historically been a balanced offense.

Robert Woods and Cooper Kupp have had impressive and similar results each season. Gerald Everett and Tyler Higbee were likewise similar in their production But so far, the story of the LA Rams offense has been all about quarterback Matthew Stafford launching passes to wide receiver Cooper Kupp.

Kupp is on track for a ridiculously productive season already. While the Rams will likely get some big games out of Robert Woods and Van Jefferson, the nearly 300 yards and three touchdowns out of Cooper Kupp so far has him ranked as the third-best receiver in the NFL in two games. That’s pretty significant.

Of course, there is plenty of room in the Rams offense for Kupp to continue at this career-high pace. And with the Rams’ next three games, they will need Kupp to continue to deliver.
