The LA Rams have been facing a torrent of good teams, and it may be that every improving opposition has given the impression that the team is getting worse. From what we have seen on the field, that may be true. This week will provide ample evidence of just where the team falls in the scale of NFL teams.

No players show up as questionable or out for Week 5 due to injury. Running back Darrell Henderson saw plenty of action in Week 4, which was likely amplified after an early fumble by teammate Sony Michel. I don’t expect Michel to be out of head coach Sean McVay’s doghouse this week

The team has not announced any activated players from the practice squad for this one. The roster did recently add OLB Jamir Jones and he may see his first action with the defense in this one.

The Seattle Seahawks have struggled to find success, splitting wins against the Indianapolis Colts and San Francisco 49ers while suffering losses at the hands of the Tenessee Titans and the Minnesota Vikings.  All in all, the Seahawks opponents have combined for a 6-10 record so far this season. The Rams opponents have combined for a 10-6 record so far.

Plenty of points? A defensive contest? Neither team has shown much in the way of defenses so far. Still, that isn’t to say that they won’t show some early in this one. Head coach Sean McVay has a knack for outthinking himself, or running the same ole stuff, in games like this. Either of which could be disastrous in this game.

The offense needs to score points and lots of them. I say they’ll get them in this one. How many will that be? We haven’t seen the best from this offense. I don’t know that this game will show it either. But it should be close.
