14 – Seattle Seahawks

There are few occasions when an NFC West rival can help the LA Rams, but the Seattle Seahawks are tanking rapidly, and safety Ugo Amadi could be a nice addition to the Rams, and translate into draft picks for the Seahawks.

The LA Rams lost defensive back J.R. Reed to the New York Giants, and need to bolster the back end of their secondary. Amadi can deliver a versatile and productive style of play to help the Rams’ defense.

He was drafted in the fourth round of the 2019 NFL Draft with the 132nd overall pick out of the University of Oregon but has not found a starting role of any duration with their defense to date. He is a bit undersized, standing just 5-foot-9 and weighing 201 pounds. But as many NFL defensive backs who succeed despite a sub-six-foot-height, he is very adept at positioning himself between the receiver and the quarterback.

In 37 NFL games, he has started just seven. He increases his value by being a productive player on special teams as well.  While he is the type of player who can be ignored for just his safety play, he cannot and should not be overlooked when you consider the fact that he can play safety, outside cornerback, slot cornerback, hybrid nickel linebacker, and special teams gunner.

He has been on the list of trade targets for other teams. His versatility makes him an ideal target for the LA Rams.
