20 – Las Vegas Raiders

Okay, the idea of trading for a former player may not sit well with many folks. But the LA Rams have to consider infusing a veteran into the middle of their defense, and that means that Las Vegas Raiders inside linebacker Cory Littleton should be on the radar.

The Raiders believed that they could replicate Littleton’s Pro Bowl production when they signed him in 2020. But so far? They have not even come close. Of course, their plan was flawed from the get-go. You see, Littleton is very adept in pass coverage. But his run defense leaves a bit to be desired.

The Rams can compensate for that by pairing him up in the heart of the defense with rookie Ernest Jones. Jones is every bit the run-stopping thumper that Littleton is in pass defense. Right now, after the Rams have lost both Micah Kiser and now Kenny Young to the Denver Broncos, the Rams should be discussing adding a linebacker to the fold.

Littleton would be a good choice. His production has plummeted since leaving the LA Rams organization, and he undoubtedly would love to be among the players discussed as the best at his position once more.

On a more sentimental note. Cory Littleton was one of the players who helped the Rams to compete in Super Bowl LIII. It seems like the right thing to do to bring him back to help the Rams compete in Super Bowl LVI.
