22 – Atlanta Falcons

The LA Rams have experienced holes in the roster on the defensive side of the ball, and inside linebacker Foyesade Oluokun from the Atlanta Falcons can help a great deal. While he is the Falcons’ starting linebacker, he is in the last year of his rookie contract. The Falcons may simply decide to trade him now and speed up the potential compensatory pick process.

This guy is worth the effort. He appears to have exactly what the LA Rams need to anchor the middle of the defense. What’s the buzz all about? Well, just click this video link right here and find out.

What I love about Oluokun is his head’s up play.  He always has his head in the game, is in the right place to make a play, diagnoses the offense correctly, and delivers so many little things that when added up over the course of a game, result in a victory.

He played for Raheem Morris’s defense in 2020, and that is a huge plus for the Rams to target him in a trade before the 2021 NFL deadline. His intangibles bury the needle, and that is the stuff that rubs off on the young players who fill the ranks of the defense. Trading for Oluokun now not only helps the defense today but helps to develop defenders for future seasons as well.
