Reason VII- The Aaron Donald effect? How about the Von Miller effect

Okay, so I saved the best for last. At least, I love this aspect of Von Miller joining the Rams defense most of all. For the longest time, fans have sought someone who can take the pressure off All-Pro defensive lineman Aaron Donald.

The first and last time that happened was the occasion when the Rams added defensive lineman Ndamukong Suh. In that season, Suh recorded 4.5 quarterback sacks and 59 tackles. In that same season, Aaron Donald recorded 59 tackles but recorded a career-high 20.5 quarterback sacks. Since that time, it’s been Donald who has helped his teammates get to the quarterback.

So the question now becomes, if playing alongside Aaron Donald can elevate the play of Donte Fowler Jr. and Leonard Floyd, how high will Von Miller’s number climb now?

So combining Aaron Donald with Von Miller should help Miller’s production. But sit down for this next one. Von Miller wants to bring the Von Miller effect to help out Aaron Donald.
