5 players that the LA Rams should kick the tires on not named OBJ

Running back
In clearing space for the return of running back Christian McCaffrey, the Carolina Panthers have waived running back Royce Freeman. Freeman was a former teammate of outside linebacker Von Miller and proved to be a very versatile NFL running back. He had huge shoes to fill with the Panthers, who ultimately chose to part ways with the veteran.
Now, he is waiting for his next chance. Could that happen with the LA Rams?
He is a very intriguing player, particularly in the many ways that the Rams could make use of him. He stands 6-foot-0 and weighs a burly 238-pounds. He is an ideal player to be used by the team in one of many ways in the backfield, H-back, tight end, or wideout.
With his size, he is an outstanding power back option, in much the same way that the Rams used Johnny Mundt. He has one bonus in that he can also carry the football effectively.
As a receiver, this sure-handed bowling ball has better than an 80 percent catch rate, something that is crucial in tough games. And he is an ideal short-yardage back, powering through even the smallest creases. While the Rams have continued to search for a third running back to round out the offense, Freeman checks all of the boxes. And he is easy on the salary cap as well.
