The LA Rams traded for outside linebacker Von Miller from the Denver Broncos for the remainder of the 2021 NFL season. And by the Monday morning after Super Bowl LVI, all of the football that remained to be played by Miller at the rest of the Rams roster will be over. As we have alluded to with several articles on the topic, what comes next?

For some players, arriving to compete with the LA Rams is the final destination, in as much as any football team can be ‘home’ in this industry. After all, it’s normal business in any professional sport to go where they pay you, and if you are already under contract, to go where they trade you. That usually means that you are going to a faraway city to compete for that team.

But in the case of Broncos Von Miller, he has been so good that the Denver Broncos organization and fan base never dreamed that he would be traded to another team. But the 2021 NFL season brought many new and unusual circumstances. One of which some Broncos fans are still mulling over is the trade that sent their Broncos star to Los Angeles.

Well, he’s with the Rams chasing down a Super Bowl once more. But after that?

When he says that he is ‘just here working in LA’, it may rub some the wrong way. But pause a moment. What did he really mean by that?

The moment, filling him with emotions was an unfair glimpse into the heart of a player who had played so long with his previous team. As he prepares for SB LVI, the memories and emotions that fill Von Miller now will flood from the moments when he played and excelled for the Denver Broncos in Super Bowl 50 in his fifth NFL season.
