Rams want to Run It Back

Okay, we’ve done a brief walkabout of the NFC West. Now, let’s bring it back home to the LA Rams. We’ll start with the impassioned and alcohol-fueled chanting at the victory parade and celebration rally. At the peak of emotional euphoria, the team was swept up into the maelstrom of wanting to repeat the feeling. Who wouldn’t want a sequel?

Of course, that unto itself is not much of a story.  The team made a lot of key decisions, placed high-stakes wagers that paid out big-time, and won the ultimate prize. So I suppose that the best place to start is to give an objective and honest assessment of the team’s performance in 2021 and ask whether the roster and coaching staff is in good enough shape to compete for an NFL Championship next year.

Well, don’t take my word for it. Here is a qualified and objective opinion from NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport,  His assessment is that the Rams have plenty to work with to “Run It Back”.

Okay, so the potential is there. But the potential is simply the ingredients stored in your cupboards. Can the LA Rams realize that potential in 2022? Well, here is where it begins to get a bit more complicated.
