A total of 324 rookie prospects will vie for the attention and interest of 32 NFL teams this week and the ultimate prize of being one of 262 college football players who will hear their name called out during the 2022 NFL Draft. But even then, having reached that point, the work really begins as those rookies must now earn their place on the rosters of their respective teams.

It starts this week, with a series of round-robin days, each critical to their potential NFL careers. The class of 2022 is divided into four separate positional groupings, each of which will proceed through five days of schedule testing and events that will generate a fully comparable NFL Draft profile for each player

The days are separated into five different stages and occur in the same order to each positional group.
Day One    – Arrival, registration, orientation, pre-exam, interviews
Day Two    – General medical exam, Potential special studies, interviews
Day Three – Media access, interviews, Ortho medical exam, NFLPA orientation meeting
Day Four   – Measurements, Bench Press, on-field workouts
Day Five    – Departure from Indianapolis

Group One   – QBs, TEs, WRs, began Day One events on February 23th
Group Two   – OL, RBs begin Day One events on March 1st
Group Three – DL, LBs begin Day One events on March 2nd
Group Four –   DBs, ST players begin Day One events on March 3rd

All NFL Scouting Combine events will conclude at the end of business day, Monday, March 7, 2022. At that time, reports will begin to surface linking the LA Rams meeting specific prospects. When that information becomes available, we will certainly track it and share it with you.
