LA Rams OC Liam Coen has great insight for 7 UK draft hopefuls

Round 2
There is little to no chance that University of Kentucky defensive end Joshua Paschal will still be on the board by the time that the LA Rams make their first selection. He has an NFL Draft grade of 6.32, which projects him to come off the board early on Day 2. (Round II – 46th ranked player)
I would pray to fall to the LA Rams if I were Joshua Paschal. He has all of the stuff to be a significant player in the NFL in the future, but under the tutelage of Defensive Line Coach Eric Henderson, his development would be that much faster and could even overshoot the most optimistic projections.
Most draft profiles project him as a Day 2 prospect, but even so, he would need to fall a bit to get close to a point where the Rams could select him. But he’s already got a bit of showbiz flair to him. Just check out this hilarious commercial he stars in for a local dentist practice:
All fun and games aside, Paschall is a cancer survivor who has persevered to reclaim his dream to pursue his dream to play for the NFL. While primarily a down lineman, Paschal has been an outside linebacker in his freshman season at Kentucky.
He stands 6-foot-3 and weighs 268-pounds, and truly turned it on for his senior season. He nearly doubled his production from any previous season across the board, leading to his rise to among the Top-100 prospects in this draft.
He is ideal for the LA Rams because he can line up in so many defensive line positions, and even fall back into respectable pass coverage if necessary. While he may not manufacture an unstoppable pass-rush on every down, his versatility makes him incredibly effective in stunting on the line of scrimmage. His ability to flex across the defensive front makes him ideal for the Rams’ defensive scheme. While I’m doubtful about his falling out of the Top-100, if he does, I certainly would expect the Rams to grab him at 104.
