Two more active players have since retired. Five more active players await their fate as they have yet to be signed out of the NFL Free Agency market. That’s 14 players out of the 53-player roster who may not return to the team just months after their Super Bowl LVI victory.
Replacements for that amount of attrition that has already impacted the team and may continue to do so must come from somewhere.
