The LA Rams end the 2022 NFL Draft by selecting a player they can develop behind Bobby Wagner and Ernest Jones, while Bobby Wagner enjoys the later years of his career in LA. While Aaron Hansford is unlikely to hit the ceiling of a Bobby Wagner, there is potential for him to be great.

Aaron Hansford’s college football career was marred with injuries, including most of his freshman season and junior season. Hansford showed some of his best football came during his last season despite the missed time.

He has shown explosiveness before and after his injuries, but he developed in coverage during the last season. If 2021 Aaron Hansford is his floor in the NFL, there is some legitimate potential worth the development.

The combination of size, strength, and speed gives him a legitimate chance to be a solid player in the NFL. Unfortunately, he still needs plenty of development, and at twenty-four, the development will be more challenging and harder to justify for many NFL teams.

For the LA Rams, trying to develop Hansford will be somewhat more manageable with one of the best veteran linebackers now on the roster. If any team has a chance to get the best version of Aaron Hansford, it is likely the LA Rams.
