Why you should track the NFL Draft before the LA Rams pick
By Bret Stuter
Okay, you’re just under 48 hours away, and the question has been gnawing at the back of your brain… Should you plan to monitor the 2022 NFL Draft before the LA Rams pick? After all, the Rams are absolutely no way going to trade into the first round of this draft. And even as they are scheduled to make their first selection at the 104th pick which is near the end of the third round on Day 2, there is a pretty good chance that the Rams will trade back.
The Rams view this draft in the context of good depth, so more picks are better than higher picks.
So if the Rams could be saving all their energy for a Day 3 Draft day salvo, wouldn’t it be wiser to wait and then join the Rams in that marathon that will start early and then continue on through the signing of undrafted free agents?
Well, we hope you will choose to stick around.
While we have our LA Rams 2022 NFL Draft tracker and updates all set up and ready to go, we will be focusing that article on what the LA Rams are doing, we plan to have plenty of coverage on how the draft is shaking out for the LA Rams.
The Rams will face a number of teams who will be making selections on Days 1 and 2 during this draft, and those selections will have an impact on the Rams in the upcoming season. We’ll be able to track who is off of the board who we hoped might fall to the LA Rams, as well as who may be falling to the LA Rams’ first pick at 104 unexpectedly.
Through it all, we’ll be measuring how the draft is unfolding: Favorably or unfavorably, for the Rams as it happens. That will give you plenty of time to conduct your own research or survey other references as to who will likely be on the board for the Rams. I wouldn’t even rule out a trade that involves the Rams before the team steps up to the podium.
You can choose to take off some time if you like. But we will be here, ready to grab the latest Rams events so that you can stay up to date.
