Yes, LA Rams can still draft impact players on Day 3 of this draft
By Bret Stuter
Hey, we’re on Day 3 of the 2022 NFL Draft. Unlike many of the teams that actually are choosing players in the first round of the draft, LA Rams fans had a chance to pause, take a deep breath, and drink it all in. The Rams are the defending NFL Champions, and as such have more than a handful of teams gunning for them this year.
But that goes both ways too, doesn’t it? While other teams try to measure themselves against the LA Rams, the Rams know that they will get the best of each and every team. Getting their best does not, however, mean succumbing to it. You see, their best does not necessarily mean they can defeat THE best.
But to gear up for the 17-game gauntlet that is the 2022 NFL season, the Rams are going to need some players on this roster who can step up rather quickly. The team has already done so on the offensive side of the ball, adding an offensive lineman who the coaching staff already believes to be right in the mix of competing for the starting right guard position.

These LA Rams boosted their offensive line, yes. Logan Bruss out of Wisconsin is a beast. But this is a team with multiple needs, then multiple wants, then roster depth to consider. And with each player selected, quality talent remains on the board.
So it’s a bit of a double-edged sword, isn’t it? Improve the roster at one position, but in the process fail to address other positions of need. That’s pretty much the drama of the NFL Draft in a nutshell. Choose this player, but what about all those other players remaining on the board? And so, we turn to Day 3 of the 2022 NFL Draft in which the LA Rams will select seven (or more) draft picks. The pace will be frantic today. Stay tuned
