December Rams games: Schedule dates, times, and predictions for Weeks 13 and 14

Week 13

Seattle Seahawks (Home)

The LA Rams finally face the Seattle Seahawks, a rather late matchup for these two teams. But this is not exactly one that will track in comparison to previous matchups. The Seahawks are in rebuild mode this year, putting their offense in the hands of quarterback Drew Lock. While Lock is not horrendous, he was unable to lead the Broncos to success.

Now, the Seahawks appear to be taking the same journey as that of the Carolina Panthers and the Atlanta Falcons. Namely, focusing less on the wins and losses this year, and focusing more upon developing talented young players to assume larger roles with the team in the future. For the LA Rams, the future is now.

Week 14

Las Vegas Raiders (Home)

• TV:         Amazon Prime

The Las Vegas Raiders certainly have gone full throttle for the 2022 season. This is a team that truly overcame a lot of adversity in 2021 to win their final four games, and jump from 6-7 to a 10-7 team that earned a playoff berth. Unfortunately, the Raiders ran into a buzzsaw in the form of the Cincinnati Bengals.

Now, the Raiders have added WR Davante Adams to the already potent offense and added a pass rusher, Chandler Jones, to the defense. The Raiders have even picked up both former Rams inside linebackers in Kenny Young and Micah Kiser.  This is a short week for both teams.  I think this game is a lot closer than some expect. The Raiders appear to be gunning for something special this year.
