It looks like the LA Rams have another reason to applaud one of the players on their roster. There is a special moment in any professional athlete’s life. No, not in their sport. I’m talking about the academic achievement of graduation. For many professional athletes, the diploma is a secondary goal. But for LA Rams defensive back Jordan Fuller, getting his diploma was not a minor goal in his collegiate experience.

And so, Fuller went back and completed the necessary coursework to earn his diploma.  And on May 8, 2022, Ohio State let everyone know:

Jordan Fuller’s major at Ohio State University is in Business Marketing. He was present for the graduation ceremony, in which he was able to walk in Ohio Stadium where he played football for the Ohio State Buckeyes. Seven members of his family were in attendance, all able to watch him march up to the podium in cap and gown. For an added treat, the graduation ceremony was held on Mother’s Day.

While Fuller was able to walk up to the podium for his college graduation ceremony, he is still unable to fully participate in the LA Rams offseason program yet. That is due to the fact that he is still recovering from a significant ankle injury suffered in the last game of the 2021 regular season. His injury required surgery to correct, much like his teammate Terrell Burgess, a year earlier.

It certainly feels as though Fuller’s name has popped up a lot today, doesn’t it? Well, we’ll have other topics to discuss, and plan to get to those soon. For now, one of the LA Rams players has graduated.

That’s a pretty big deal.
