Exactly how long will the LA Rams SB window stay open?

Restocked Rams roster
Despite the fact that the LA Rams did not choose in the 2022 NFL Draft until the 104th selection, the rookie class of 2022 is a robust collection of high-character, athletically gifted, coachable, and talented players. Not only did the Rams draft eight players, but the team signed 17 college free agents immediately after the draft ended.
Of course, we also need to mention that the Rams agreed to trade for DB Troy Hill from the Cleveland Browns on draft day as well. Of course, trading for a veteran starter for the secondary was a huge win for the Rams front office, as the secondary was the most glaring need on the defense heading into the draft.
But that was not the only position group reinforced by signing a veteran.
The BWagz effect
The LA Rams defense was also bolstered by an incredibly team-friendly contract with All-Pro inside linebacker Bobby Wagner. For years, Wagner led the defense for the divisional rival Seattle Seahawks with great success. Now, he is already leading the defense and coaching up the young linebackers on the Rams roster.
Of course, we haven’t seen this Bobby Wagner-led defense yet. But after a successful Super Bowl run that featured Kenny Young, Travin Howard, Troy Reeder, Micah Kiser, and Ernest Jones at the position, an optimistic view for the 2022 season featuring Wagner and Jones appears to be warranted.
But even the offense has gotten a boost of sorts. The LA Rams signed up WR Allen Robinson, a player who for years has been on my list of future NFL stars. While he has had a very roller-coaster sort of NFL career in eight seasons, he did manage to put up 1400 yards and 14 touchdowns in just his second season with the Jacksonville Jaguars off the passing of quarterback Blake Bortles. It’s not overly optimistic to expect a similar type of performance if he remains healthy in this LA Rams offense for the 2022 NFL season.
But are we missing anything?
