We know that one of the ways that the LA Rams have remained relevant and successful each season in the NFL is the insightful valuation of their entire roster. The LA Rams‘ front office seems to have ESP (extra sensory perception) whenever it comes down to re-signing players on expiring contracts. In many cases, the Rams set a value and offer on the table, and if the player can find a better deal elsewhere, they are welcome to take it.

But the new team is not always particularly pleased with the results.

Meanwhile, that incubation and migration of young NFL talents force the team to be very proactive in terms of coaching up younger players on the roster to ensure their readiness to take on ever-growing rotational roles. Who might be the young players who are ready to take on larger roles for the team in the 2022 NFL season? We have four such players who could deliver some production from all their lauded potential.

IV- TE/WR Jacob Harris

The NFL is chock full of talent. But the combination of a big and tall receiver who runs incredibly fast is one of those combos that are not in ample supply right now. The LA Rams training camp was all abuzz over the 6-foot-5 receiver (tight end or wide receiver? You decide) who is almost impossible to defend because he is too tall for DBs and too quick for LBs.

While very athletic, he is very raw to football. Too raw to get offensive snaps early in the season. Before he could earn playing time, he was lost for the season due to an ACL/MCL injury.

So far, his rehabbing is on time and on track.

Now, Harris has another shot to make a difference for the LA Rams, he is not nearly as raw, and the coaching staff has a better feel of what he can do. He showed significant potential as a red zone receiver who is quite capable of scoring. If he shows that ability in training camp and preseason games, I’d watch for him to show that skill in the regular season.
