LA Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp is certainly catching everything thrown his way. In the 2021 NFL season, they were pinpoint accurate passes thrown to him by veteran quarterback Matthew Stafford. During the 2022 ESPY Awards ceremony, it’s the awards that he has been nominated for in NFL categories created by ESPN.

His second award, and certainly one that he deserved, was the ESPY Award for Best NFL Player. That comes after an unheard-of season in which he flirted with breaking the NFL All-Time Single Season Receiving records. Some of those records have been in place for over 30 years.

But he didn’t stop there. He carried over his incredible performance into the NFL Playoffs, becoming an offensive weapon that the best defense in the NFL could barely slow down.

Tonight is Cooper Kupp’s night. He has been awarded the ESPY for Best NFL Player.

Cooper Kupp deserved the award after a phenomenal season.

That prestigious award will make a nice bookend for his other ESPY award on the evening, the ESPY for Best Championship Performance.

And how should we celebrate? Why not follow the LA Rams official Twitter account and catch a few Cooper Kupp highlights?

Kupp’s 2021 NFL season performance was so good that many are backing down on 2022 season projections because, well, 2021 was too good? While I follow that line of logic, I’m not ready to project Kupp’s numbers for this year because 2021 was simply too good to be true.

In the meantime, Cooper Kupp is enjoying the fruits of his labor. As well he should. For now. But come July 23, 2022, 2021 is forgotten.

It’s a new NFL season.
