The LA Rams open their 2022 NFL training camp on July 23, 2022. After the success of the 2021 NFL season, there have been plenty of reasons to be eager for this one.  The LA Rams may not be a sure thing, but there is no lack of confidence in the team this season.

And why should there be? This is a team that was considered to be a bit of a long shot to win a playoff game, to emerge as the hottest team in the NFL by season’s end. That hot streak carried over into a four-game postseason winning streak, the first playoff wins for veteran quarterback Matthew Stafford.

Despite winning it all, setting records, and dropping jaws, there is still an enclave of disbelievers. And so the LA Rams will be back to see how persuasive they can be to change some minds once more.

When does the Rams training camp start?

The LA Rams opened training camp for the coaching staff today, July 22, 2022. Players will report on Saturday, July 23, 2022, to the VEA Newport Beach Marriott Resort & Spa. The team will begin this year’s camp with four practices that are closed to the public but open to media from Sunday, July 24 to Wednesday, July 27th at 12:30 p.m. PT.

The entire camp will last from July 24 – August 10. Training camp sessions will be open to the public from July 29– August 10

Where is the LA Rams training camp located?

The LA Rams train at the University of California, Irvine. You can find an interactive map at this link. To avoid frustration over parking, plan ahead and contact the UCI parking website to ensure you know the best parking options and how to get there.

Is the LA Rams training camp open to the public?

Yes, but you need to contact the team to get passes to attend. You can claim your free tickets by clicking on the link here and providing the prompted information as requested,  or by simply registering at therams.com/trainingcamp.

Practice times listed above include 30-minute stretch and special teams sessions prior to each practice start time and each practice will begin with a walk-thru period.

AUTOGRAPHS ✍️

Attending fans must be in possession of an autograph Rams wristband for the corresponding date in order to enter the autograph line.

Wristbands are not guaranteed and can be won at the Prize Wheel in the Family Zone. Autographs are for children between the ages of 5 and 14 ONLY and to accommodate as many children as possible, only one autographed item per child is permitted.

How to get LA Rams training camp tickets

You can claim your free tickets by clicking on the link here and providing the prompted information as requested, or by simply registering at therams.com/trainingcamp. You may attend as many sessions as possible. But you may are limited to four adult and four youth tickets per training camp session.

Is the LA Rams training camp being streamed anywhere?

While that would be great, it’s not officially being streamed. The team did adapt to the limits of the 2020 preseason and the medical restrictions imposed on the team and players at that time to ensure their health.  If you recall, The plan was displayed on therams.com/trainingcamp and intended to broadcast the team’s training camp via the team’s website at therams.com, on their Facebook page at www.facebook.com/rams, and on their YouTube channel at www.youtube.com/larams.

No such plans or announcements have been forthcoming about this year’s training camp session.
