WR Jacob Harris

Another player who could help the LA Rams in Week 3 is TE/WR Jacob Harris. He was a player who the LA Rams activated in Week 2, particularly for special teams, and the Rams may opt to repeat that role for Harris once more.

I think the Rams may be interested in getting Harris involved on special teams this week as well. The game is one against a tough NFC West Division rival, and the Rams have learned as recently as the 2021 NFL season that even early games against division opponents can have season-long implications in terms of setting NFL Playoff seeding.

More than  a special team specialist

While Jacob Harris is likely a special team specialist for the LA Rams, there will come a day when he unveils his ability to become a huge red zone weapon in this Rams offense. His speed and size make him a matchup nightmare for any defensive secondary. His only drawback was his inexperience at blocking, a talent that the Rams demands of all receivers.

He has mastered blocking this season, and as such could be a surprisingly effective target at some point in time this season. Is this the moment for Jacob Harris to fulfill his offensive expectations? Rams head coach Sean McVay is good friends with Arizona Cardinals head coach Kliff Kingsbury, but he especially enjoys the sweet taste of dominating his friend in this rivalry.

It would not surprise me to see Jacob Harris active in this one. And it would not shock me to see Jacob Harris get some targets on offense in Week 3 either.
