LA Rams try new duds to beat familiar rival in Week 3

What are the LA Rams wearing this week? Would you believe that we are still answering that question after the LA Rams swapped out nearly a third of their roster in the past 10 days alone? That is how it goes on game day, the smallest detail can be the difference between winning and losing.

So here we are, Week 3 and we have tried to avoid the inevitable. But the LA Rams’ success and the uniforms worn are not going away anytime soon. So we are back to tracking the pairing of what the LA Rams wear to how well the LA Rams perform.

To avoid the senseless game-by-game listing of the past contests, we’ve summarized the various uniform combos and the Rams’ subsequent win-loss record by season. You may notice that the classic white uniform was not available in 2020.  The Rams did not make the classic white throwback jersey available until 2021.

The LA Rams faced the Arizona Cardinals in Week 4 of the 2021 season in the cursed Royal/Royal uniforms, a combination worn in which the Rams have not yet won a game. This year, the Rams uniform to face the Cardinals will be the Bone/Royal combination.

2022 LA Rams uniform schedule

The LA Rams Week 3 uniform, the Bone jersey with Royal pants, has been one of the more successful uniform color combinations for the Rams so far, with the team winning four games and losing two in that attire.

The Rams did not wear the Bone / Royal combination to face the Cardinals in 2021. The team opted for Royal / Royal in Week 4 (loss), Bone / Bone in Week 14 (win), and Royal / Sol in the Wildcard Round of the NFL Playoffs (win).
