Rams vs. 49ers: Game day info, betting spread, and how to watch
By Bret Stuter
The LA Rams are 2-1 and now face perhaps their greatest challenge of the young season, the San Francisco 49ers. This game is incredibly important to both teams. The NFC West Division is bunched up right now. With wins to both the Arizona Cardinals and the Seattle Seahawks, a victory by the LA Rams will give the Rams an early lead in the division. Not only will the Rams take a 3-1 record into Week 5, but the Rams will rise to 2-0 in divisional games, which gives them the pole position for any future tiebreakers needed to sort out NFC Playoff berths.
The San Francisco 49ers have their own interests in mind though. A win in Week 4 will not only erase all of their early season struggles from everyone’s mind, but even at 2-2, they will be 2-0 in the NFC West Division, and will themselves be privy to the high ground if and when tiebreakers are necessary to determine playoff seeding.

The 49ers had lost to the Chicago Bears in the opener but rebounded nicely to defeat the Seattle Seahawks in Week 2. The 49er then traveled to Denver, where the Broncos would defeat them. The 49ers are undefeated at home this season, and winless on the road. Unfortunately for the Rams, this game is at San Francisco.

Recommended Bets:
Wow. If this were any team besides the 49ers, I would be grabbing all my cash to place a stake on this one. But after that successive string of losses to the 49ers, I am content to steer clear of the moneyline. In fact, for the first time since including recommendations, I really do not like any of the three options in this one.
Many bookies have set the moneyline for the 49ers at (-130), so if you like to play the hedges, a savvy bet would be to put up the 120 here for the 49ers to win.
Steer clear of this one, but if you must make a bet, here are my very lukewarm recommendations:
Take the Rams with the points (-110) to cover
Take the 49ers on the Money Line (-120) to win
Take the OVER at 42.0 (-110) in this one

Whether or not you place a bet, you will undoubtedly be in for a thriller in this one It’s an early game, but it has significant meaning to the NFC West Division and to the NFC Playoff picture overall.
Weather Conditions
The weather at Levi Stadium for this one is about as picture-perfect as you could hope for. The temperature at kickoff will hover on or about 70 degrees with light winds out of the north/northwest. Temperatures will fall to about 63 degrees by the time the final score is posted, so if you are in attendance a light jacket would be a wise accessory.
