While writing for the LA Rams has plenty of challenges, there are some perks that are seldom discussed as well. The LA Rams have been one of the most successful organizations since 2017, a fact that some forget as this team struggles to find a win or even any vestige of success. But adversity is as much a part of the cycle of life as achievements.

In the opinion of some of the greatest achievers of the modern era, it is the ability to deal with adversity that truly defines real success. Everyone gets knocked down at some point in their lives. But it is how we handle ourselves from that moment on that truly sets the potential for just how high we can set and achieve our goals.

It was the heart-breaking loss at Lambeau that catalyzed the LA Rams organization’s single-minded focus to regroup and win at all costs. And winning is exactly what this team is all about. But winning is not the only thing to be thankful for on Thanksgiving Day 2022. In fact, it’s perhaps one of the lesser things to be thankful for.

Thanksgiving Day guests

So this year, rather than talk about things I’m thankful for, I thought for a change of pace that I’d discuss the LA Rams persons who I would invite to my Thanksgiving Day table.

While carving the turkey and passing the carrots au gratin may not be the honor today that it was in my childhood, a banquet or feast continues to carry special homage and honor in even today’s society. We celebrate weddings with a wedding reception, we commemorate funerals with a wake, we recognize significant events in the spring/summer months with backyard barbecues and picnics, and we even try to connect with another person in dating by going out to lunch and dinner.

Whether you know it or not, you honor important people in your life by breaking bread with them. So here are three persons from the LA Rams who I would welcome to join me for this Thanksgiving Day feast.
