Raiders vs. Rams: Game Day info, betting spread, how to view
By Bret Stuter
There are those who truly believe that the LA Rams (3-9) may not win another game this season. Certainly, fans of the Las Vegas Raiders (5-7) hope that is true. But you never can tell in the NFL this year, can you? There were plenty of knowledgeable NFL analysts who did not predict that the LA Rams’ fortunes would plummet from the lofty heights of an NFL Championship victor to a team that already looking for draft help. Unfortunately, the tsunami of injuries that has been battering the LA Rams roster has been relentless.
The game was viewed at the inception of the 2022 NFL season as a likely contest between two NFL teams vying for prime position for the NFL Playoffs. Now, the game is more about two teams trying to salvage respectability for the remainder of the season. So far, the Raiders have done a better job, winners of their last three games. The Rams have gone in the other direction, currently the losers of their last six games.
The LA Rams may not be exciting for casual NFL fans, but for the diehard fans, this team has plenty of exciting football remaining to play. The Rams discovered that two undervalued players, namely WR Tutu Atwell and newly converted OLB Michael Hoecht, have the potential to be outstanding NFL players. Who may break out for the LA Rams this week?
LA Rams Injury Report vs Raiders Week 13
The Rams roster is very chaotic right now. how bad is it? Well, the Rams’ backup quarterback John Wolford is trying to play despite a lingering neck injury that was aggravated in Week 12. If he cannot go, the Rams are reportedly willing to start QB Baker Mayfield, who just got off the plane and arrived at the Rams’ training facility along the lines of 48 hours earlier. Amazing.
The Rams have tried to shrug off multiple injuries each week, but after a certain point, the Rams are fortunate to even have enough healthy players to compete. The team has plenty of younger players who will benefit from any playing time, and the team has been trying to ensure that they are getting meaningful snaps and NFL experience. While that may not help this team’s chances this year, it will pay huge dividends in the future.

The LA Rams players may be unfamiliar this week to some fans, but there are plenty of reasons for the players who do take the field to do well. Young Rams players are fighting for playing time and expanded roles.
For one subplot, the LA Rams could be starting their same five offensive linemen in their second consecutive week.

Recommended Bets:
There really has not been much to be excited about from the LA Rams. But that uncertainty has given the oddsmakers fits as well. I don’t like the Rams in any games through the rest of the season, but if you must place a wager:
Take the moneyline and the Raiders to win (-290)
Take the point spread (+7.0) and the Rams (-120) in this one
National broadcast: Amazon Prime Sports
The LA Rams face a determined team that has a far better chance of returning to postseason discussions if the Raiders can string together a winning streak. The Raiders are winning, and the Rams are not. That’s going to play a huge factor in this one.
