In all honesty, it is a rare occasion to witness an NFL player catch the game-winning touchdown with seconds to spare on the game clock, and far rarer if an LA Rams receiver makes that touchdown catch. In the 2022 NFL season, it’s happened just once. But if you are like me, any chance to experience live action from the player’s perspective is always a welcome event.

And so, without further ado, let’s have one more treat that involves the sounds and views of LA Rams wide receiver Van Jefferson with a game-tying/winning touchdown from a quarterback who only just arrived on the Rams’ roster:

It’s one for the scrapbook folks. In a season of unbelievable challenges, immeasurable injuries, and unfathomable adversity, the rebound to the positive felt less than tipping of the scales in the right direction, and more like childhood stories and holiday movies written to sustain the fragile youthful belief in happily-ever-after endings. Ah, but did we err here? Did we spoil it for you? Perhaps we gave away the ending before you had a chance to drink in all of the drama that led up to that final moment.

Do you want the full story? Here you go:

Yes, LA Rams fans, there are reasons to believe in this team and to keep watching this team play. Sometimes the most memorable moments in life happen when you least expect them.

Not every play on the football field ends with a victory. Not every outstanding NFL player gets an NFL Championship ring. There is plenty to love about the Rams, win or lose, and right now that is being put to the test.

The Rams won a thriller in Week 14. A game that was too incredible to even be scripted. The Rams trailed by a score of 16-3 in the fourth quarter, and by a score of 16-10 with just 1:42 left to play. Yet, here we are, looking back on the game-winning touchdown. In the end, you should learn to laugh at jokes, celebrate events, and acknowledge achievements no matter how small.

Life is just too important to be taken so seriously. Learn to smile at the moment, because one day you may look up and realize what a special moment you missed along the way.4
