The Los Angeles Rams have restocked the roster and are underway with preparations to vie for the honors of bringing back the Lombardi Trophy to Los Angeles, California. To do that, opposing NFL team fanbases believe LA must do the impossible. In short, the team that made some minor tweaks must show up in a big way.
But accomplishing unbelievable feats in head coach Sean McVay's wheelhouse, as you will quickly see with these 2025 unbelievable feats:
3. After all tight ends scored just 3 TDs in 2024, 4 scored 3+ TDs in 2026
LA's offense seemed to ignore the tight end position since the 1999 spike of offense from tight end Tyler Higbee. In 2025, the entire tight end room could only generate three touchdowns. Well, 13 personnel changed all that last year, as four tight ends had no less than three touchdowns apiece, and Colby Parkinson led the group with eight scores.
2. Los Angeles is 8-2 when Kyren Williams runs over 100 yards, but 0-1 in playoffs
When the running of Ezekiel Elliot powered the Dallas Cowboys, defenses understood that holding 'Zeke under 100 yards often meant victory. Ironically, NFL defenses may soon figure that part out against Los Angeles. Whenever running back Kyren Williams tops 100+ rushing yards, the team has a very successful 8-2 record. Ironically, if he breaks the 100 rushing yards mark in the postseason, LA has yet to win a game.
1. Matthew Stafford has never missed the playoffs since throwing to Puka Nacua
Quarterback Matthew Stafford loves throwing to wide receiver Puka Nacua. In fact, since the two first connected in 2023, Los Angeles has never missed the postseason. That's right, Puka Nacua has never known an NFL season that did not end with playoff competition. Stranger than fiction.
Unbelievable is just what fans should expect in 2026
After this bounty of unbelievability, LA Rams fans should expect the unexpected in 2026. After all, there is a host of NFL analysts, and even some fans, who no longer believe that Los Angeles is a Super Bowl competitor this season.
There is no doubt that selecting rookie quarterback Ty Simpson was unexpected. Well, by some. The reality is that disappointment in the Simpson selection is based entirely on prescribed expectations. There was every reason for LA to address the quarterback room in this year's draft, if only to ensure a quarterback was on the roster in 2027 and beyond.
Meanwhile, nobody seemed to notice the addition of offensive firepower in tight end Max Klare and wide receiver CJ Daniels. While both rookies are expected to have limited opportunities in 2026, they may surprise everyone with solid numbers.
After all, expect the unexpected.
For the first time since John Wolford and Bryce Perkins backed up quarterback Jared Goff, LA has restored youth to the quarterback room. What does it all mean for 2026? Anything goes.
As always, thanks for reading.
