3 Rams who are positioned for sensational production in Week 13

OLB Jared Verse
The LA Rams young defensive front learned a valuable and costly lesson at the hands of the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 12. The team hoped to have enough run defense to force Eagles to pivot from RB Saquon Barkley to QB Jalen Hurts. But if you witnessed how Barkley ran roughshod all over the Rams defense, you know that plan failed miserable.
But that lesson, those mistakes, the incessant holes that Saquon Barkley found and exploited at ease, was not lost or forgotten by the players on this defense. One such player who seems to fuel his performance from raw and bottomless emotions is rookie outside linebacker Jared Verse.
Despite hearing his name called out with the 19th overall selection in the 2024 NFL Draft, Jared Verse currently stands as the fourth-best pass rusher on the team after six games. His 4.5 quarterback sacks falls in line behind rookie DT Braden Fiske (6.0) and OLB Byron Young (6.0), as well as NT Kobie Turner (5.0). The thing is, defensive penalties stripped him of two quarterback sacks in one game.
But I do not expect penalties to stop his rage-fueled pass rush in Week 13.
Despite the fact that New Orleans Saints QB Derek Carr has only been sacked seven times in eight games, I believe that Jared Verse will have a good game. He has demonstrated the ability to fulfill all responsibilities of the position, and he has already mastered an unblockable bull rush that gets him in the face of opposing quarterbacks.
The young Rams defensive front boasts players who are more than happy to gobble multiple blockers to free up a teammate. In Week 13, Verse is the defender who is free to make plays. And he will, multiple times.
