3 reasons why Rams GM Les Snead needs to sign this former Rams player

Is fate intervening for the Rams once more?
The Rams do seem to need help right now.
And a former Rams player, WR Odell Beckham Jr., is currently rumored to be facing his immediate release. If he is released, wouldn't it make sense for the Rams to give signing him back to the Rams roster serious consideration?
I suppose it all comes down to whether any other teams are interested in signing him, how much he will sign for, and even whether he wants to play for the Rams again. But NFL Insider Tom Pelissero reports the rumors that OBJ's release is imminent, and both the Rams and the Baltimore Ravens are named as his potential suitors.
And then, it was confirmed.
My first thought was not a warm embrace to the idea. After all, the Rams offense and the roster have had plenty of turmoil this sesaon. Perhaps it would be best to just let the dust settle, sit back, and see what this team has under the hood in terms of offensive firepower.
But that doesn't sit right with me, either. The Rams flirted with the NFL Playoffs, but never won it all until the front office rolled the dice on some high-reward roster moves. So why should the team avoid similar pursuits in 2024? And let's not forget that the LA Rams find themselves once more in the third year of their third three-year cycle.
As crazy as it sounds, shouldn't the Rams prepare for the best-case scenario too?
