When it comes to the Los Angeles Rams' starting lineup for the 2025 NFL season, there is a pretty good sense of who will likely earn starting roles on the team even as OTAs are getting underway. That is due to many reasons, but the least of which is nowhere near the fact that many of last year's uncontested starters are back for another NFL campaign to win the Lombardi Trophy.

It's almost flooring to consider the Rams and see just how few veterans remain from that epic moment in the history of the Los Angeles Rams franchise. It was the first Super Bowl won by the Rams for the city of Los Angeles, California. And immediately afterwards, the entire football organization vowed to 'Run It Back.'

Retaining players is a tricky business. Everyone on a successful team wants to be paid top dollar for their hand in that success. With limited dollars available via the annual NFL salary cap, teams simply cannot pay everyone. So, some players find their pot of gold at the end of the rainbow with different NFL teams. Other players lower their demands to match what a team is willing to pay them.

And then there is the entirely different category of NFL players who simply did not perform at the same level that their contract compensated them to do. That often leads to a team spending to improve the performance in certain categories of the team.

All of these factors combine for all 32 NFL teams to shuffle their respective rosters. For this team, there are just a couple of open slots on the Rams roster to be filled. So that brings us up to the current Pro Football Focus Roster Rankings for all 32 NFL teams. The article was a collaboration between writers Max Chadwick and Dalton Wasserman, and cites categories of greatest strength, weakness, X-Factor, and rookie to watch.

PFF projected 2025 Starting Lineup

While the task of talking about the 2025 Rams depth chart right now is great fodder to start some lucid and passionate conversations about the Rams roster among fans, not everyone gets it 'right' at this time of year. No, I'm not citing the inherent risk that comes with any future projections. I'm simply considering the overwhelming amount of knowledge required for any single or pair of NFL Analysts to accurately project a logical depth chart.

I have listed the Pro Football Focus projected Rams depth chart (in terms of starters) and will follow that up with three key positions that is completely missed in their projections.
