The Los Angeles Rams needed a win, but the Week 12 matchup was not guaranteed of any success. Los Angeles had squeaked out a win in Week 11, while the Tampa Bay Buccaneers suffered a loss last week. The Bucs are another formidable opponent, the third consecutive postseason contender to line up to face Los Angeles this month.

If fans wanted to see what LA is made of, they got to see the full impact. The team built up a significant lead, up to 31-7 at halftime. And with so much scoring early, the offense was content to ease off the throttle in the second half.

The Bucs, having benched the injured starter Baker Mayfield, were unable to mount a rally behind quarterback Teddy Bridgewater.

It was a game of glory. A phenomenal win that seemed to be every bit the domination that the scoreboard reflected. The defense allowed just 103 passing yards, and just 70 passing yards for the game after netting against 4.0 quarterback sacks. The defense allowed just 193 yards, while the offense put up 333 yards.

And if you compare cornerback Cobie Durant's pick-six, the defense scored as much as the Bucs offense.

Who were 7 Rams who stood out in a dominating Week 12 win?

Winner 7: Cornerback Emmanuel Forbes Jr.

How good was Emmanuel Forbes in this one? Some early indications are that he allowed 0 completions on eight targets. He added a tackle, an interception, and broke up five passes in this one. If you like to root for the underdog, then you simply need to follow Forbes. He is skyrocketing in terms of defensive coverage.

Winner 6: Defensive lineman Kobie Turner

The defense needed a productive pass rush, and that is all Kobie Turner needed to know. He put up six tackles and 2.0 quarterback sacks in this one, a huge performance in a huge game. In a rather quiet 2025 season so far, Turner proved he can step up instantly when the team needs him to do so.

Winner 5: Tight end Coby Parkinson

Without Tyler Higbee, which of the tight ends would step up? Simple, Colby Parkinson hauled in his first four passes for 41 yards and a touchdown. LA needed someone to step up in the tight end room, and Colby Parkinson was able to step up. While one game is not a trend, it is a solid step in the right direction.

Winner 4. Cobie Durant

The fact is that Cobie Durant, a.k.a. the Landshark, was as good as hoped for. He made a huge tackle for a loss, as well as a huge play that was ruled as an interception. He ran the football in for a touchdown. He put up two tackles, one interception returned for a touchdown, and two passes broken up.

Winner 2: Wide receiver Davante Adams

I don't think it's a coincidence that quarterbacks who throw to Davante Adams have huge numbers of touchdown passes and low numbers of interceptions. Once again, Adams scored on a one-yard touchdown pass for the second consecutive game. But he ended the night with five catches on eight passes for 62 yards and two touchdowns.

He's added nine touchdowns over the last five games.

Winner 1: Quarterback Matthew Stafford

It's hard to imagine a better first half out of veteran quarterback Matthew Stafford. At halftime, he threw 19 of 23 passes for 210 passing yards, three touchdowns, and no interceptions. Unlike Week 11, which ended with just 130 passing yards, Stafford was tossing lasers. He completed 25 of 35 for 273 yards and three touchdowns with no interceptions.

There are many more players who deserve mentioning, and we'll be featuring them as the week progresses. The Horns won a huge game, and did so in dominating fashion. Hopefully, they are still improving, as the job's not done yet.

As always, thanks for reading.
