(1) - Red Zone efficiency
The LA Rams offense is the 19th-ranked team in terms of Red Zone efficiency after 12 games. They score a touchdown in 53.49 percent of their appearances inside the opponent's 20-yard line. Before you celebrate too emphatically, keep in mind that the team scored in all three red zone appearances in Week 13. That did a lot to buoy the team's ranking.
.@rams @Saints Rams go 3-3 in the red zone to win 21-14 and get to 6-6. TD's over FG's with great execution. #BaldysBreakdowns pic.twitter.com/YWbOMTaS0E

The problem is, the Rams offense scored touchdowns on 60.34 percent of their red zone appearances one year ago. That is from a team that finished the year with a record of 10-7. The team struggled to score in the Wild Card Round of the 2024 NFL Playoffs, perhaps the greatest reason for the road loss to the Detroit Lions.
Much of the offseason was directed to improve the team's ability to score touchdowns this season. Clearly, those plans have not gained much traction. Still, there are reasons for hope.
The team did score in all three red zone appearances in Week 13. While only one data point, it's still a start. And if the coaches analyze their success, perhaps the team can replicate that success again. There is also the knowledge that the Rams offensive line is as proficient and healthy as ever, and that could be reason to expect better red zone results.
The Rams can win in Week 14. The team simply needs to play a flawless game. Thanks for reading.
